BDS 2019-2026 GMC/CHEVROLET 1500 4" LIFT KIT

Give your 2019–2024 Chevy Silverado 1500 or GMC Sierra 1500 4WD a taller, more aggressive stance with the BDS Suspension 4-Inch Lift Kit. Engineered to improve ground clearance, tire clearance, suspension strength, and overall capability, this complete lift system corrects critical suspension and steering geometry while maintaining confident on-road handling.

This BDS lift kit uses high-clearance crossmembers, heavy-duty steering knuckles, differential relocation hardware, upper control arms, skid plates, rear lift blocks, and vehicle-specific shock tuning to create a complete suspension system—not simply a cosmetic lift.

High-Clearance BDS Suspension Design

BDS uses high-arched, 1/4-inch-thick steel crossmembers to maximize ground clearance while creating a strong foundation for the front suspension. A heavy-duty skid-plate system connects the crossmembers to form a rigid subframe while providing additional protection for critical drivetrain components.

Multipoint differential relocation brackets lower and secure the front differential to help restore proper CV axle operating angles at the new ride height.

The FOX 2.0 Performance Series package is an excellent choice for daily-driven trucks that also see towing, ranch roads, jobsite use, or recreational off-road travel.

FOX 2.0 front struts feature a custom-molded spring seat that allows the factory coil spring and mounting hardware to be reused. Their 2-inch aluminum monotube bodies, internal floating pistons, high-flow pistons, and application-specific valving provide more consistent damping and improved heat management compared to the factory struts.

FOX 2.0 Performance Series rear shocks complete the package with vehicle-specific valving designed to improve stability, control, and ride quality at the taller ride height.

For drivers who want maximum suspension performance and adjustability, the FOX 2.5 Performance Elite package replaces the factory front struts with premium, vehicle-specific coilovers.

The larger 2.5-inch shock bodies and remote reservoirs increase fluid capacity and improve heat dissipation during demanding off-road use. FOX Dual Speed Compression adjusters provide independent control over low-speed and high-speed compression damping, allowing the suspension to be tuned for changing terrain, vehicle weight, towing loads, and driving speed.

The coilovers offer 10 low-speed and 12 high-speed compression settings, providing a wide range of adjustment without requiring the shocks to be removed from the vehicle.

Strut-Spacer Kit for Trail Boss and AT4 Models

Factory-lifted Chevy Silverado Trail Boss and GMC Sierra AT4 models use a dedicated BDS 4-Inch Lift Kit configuration. This system uses heavy-duty top-mounted strut spacers to retain the factory front struts while achieving the required lift height.

The Trail Boss and AT4 kit also includes corrected upper control arms, high-clearance crossmembers, steering knuckles, differential relocation hardware, CV spacers, sway-bar drops, bump-stop extensions, skid plates, brake-line brackets, and the required installation hardware.

Retaining the factory struts helps preserve the truck’s original ride characteristics while the BDS suspension components correct geometry and provide clearance for larger tires.

Rear Suspension

A heavy-duty rear lift block replaces the factory block to create a level stance while retaining the truck’s factory rear spring design, load capacity, and general ride characteristics.

The rear system also includes new U-bolts, brake-line relocation brackets, and the selected FOX rear shocks. Vehicles equipped with mono-leaf rear springs require the applicable replacement U-bolts.

Recommended Wheel and Tire Fitment

Standard-height Silverado and Sierra 1500 models can accommodate up to 33-inch tires with common wheel combinations. Some 35-inch tire combinations may also fit when using the correct wheel specifications and performing the required trimming.

Factory-lifted Trail Boss and AT4 models can accommodate up to 35-inch tires with the appropriate wheel width, offset, backspacing, and trimming.

Common BDS recommendations include:

• 33x12.50 tires with 17x9 wheels and 4.5-inch backspacing
• 33x12.50 tires with 20x9 wheels and 6.25-inch backspacing

Important Fitment Notes

• Designed for applicable 2019–2024 Chevy Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 4WD models equipped with a gasoline engine.
• A separate kit configuration is required for Chevy Silverado Trail Boss and GMC Sierra AT4 models.
• The 2.7L turbocharged engine requires the applicable diesel/2.7L kit for proper skid-plate fitment.
• Does not fit vehicles equipped with Adaptive Ride Control.
