Transform the stance, clearance, and suspension performance of your 2019–2026 Chevy Silverado 1500 or GMC Sierra 1500 4WD with the BDS Suspension 6-Inch Lift Kit. Designed for gasoline-powered trucks, this complete suspension system provides the height needed for larger tires while correcting critical steering, suspension, CV axle, and driveline geometry.
The BDS 6-inch lift uses a high-clearance crossmember system, heavy-duty steering knuckles, replacement upper control arms, differential relocation brackets, skid plates, rear lift blocks, and vehicle-specific FOX shock options. The result is an aggressive lifted stance without sacrificing predictable handling or everyday drivability.
Choose the FOX 2.0 Performance Series package for a comfortable, controlled daily-driver setup or upgrade to FOX 2.5 Performance Elite coilovers and shocks for increased adjustability, cooling capacity, and off-road performance.
High-Clearance BDS Suspension Design
BDS uses high-arched, 1/4-inch-thick steel crossmembers to maximize ground clearance and create a rigid foundation for the front suspension. A heavy-duty skid-plate system connects the crossmembers, reinforcing the subframe while protecting critical drivetrain components from rocks, debris, and trail obstacles.
Multipoint differential relocation brackets lower and secure the front differential to improve CV axle operating angles at the new ride height. Additional CV spacers, sway-bar drop brackets, bump-stop extensions, brake-line relocation brackets, and vehicle-specific hardware complete the front suspension system.
Heavy-Duty Steering Knuckles and Upper Control Arms
High-strength CNC-machined ductile-iron steering knuckles correct steering geometry at the taller ride height. Replacement tie-rod ends help maintain proper steering function and Electronic Stability Control compatibility.
Heavy-duty replacement upper control arms provide increased strength and serviceability compared to the factory components. Corrected ball-joint positioning supports proper alignment and suspension travel while reducing stress on critical suspension components.
FOX Shock Package Options
FOX 2.0 Performance Series
The FOX 2.0 Performance Series package is ideal for daily-driven trucks that also see towing, jobsite use, ranch roads, overland travel, and recreational off-road driving.
FOX 2.0 front struts replace the factory dampers while reusing the factory coil springs and mounting hardware. A custom-molded spring seat and selectable preload positions allow the struts to work correctly with the BDS 4-inch and 6-inch suspension systems.
The internal floating-piston monotube design separates the shock oil from the high-pressure nitrogen chamber, reducing aeration and maintaining consistent damping during extended use.
FOX 2.0 Performance Series front strut features include:
- 2-inch impact-extruded 6061-T6 aluminum bodies
- Clear-anodized finish for corrosion resistance
- Internal floating-piston monotube design
- Custom-molded spring seats
- Reuses factory coil springs and mounting hardware
- 5/8-inch hard-chrome-plated, heat-treated steel shafts
- Race-developed high-flow pistons
- Application-specific FOX valving
- Selectable preload settings for 4-inch or 6-inch BDS lift systems
FOX 2.0 Performance Series rear shocks complement the upgraded front suspension with vehicle-specific valving, improved heat dissipation, and consistent damping.
FOX 2.0 rear shock features include:
- 2-inch impact-extruded aluminum bodies
- Internal floating-piston monotube construction
- CNC-machined aluminum mounting ends
- Large 5/8-inch hard-chrome-plated steel shafts
- Race-developed high-flow pistons
- Application-specific valving
- Clear-anodized corrosion-resistant finish
This configuration provides a controlled, comfortable ride with a noticeable improvement in stability and damping over the factory suspension.
FOX 2.5 Performance Elite Coilovers
For drivers seeking maximum suspension control and adjustability, the FOX 2.5 Performance Elite configuration replaces the factory front struts and coil springs with complete, vehicle-specific coilovers.
The larger 2.5-inch aluminum shock bodies and external reservoirs increase fluid capacity and improve heat dissipation during demanding off-road driving. Integrated Eibach racing springs support the vehicle’s weight and can be adjusted for preload and ride height.
FOX Dual Speed Compression adjusters provide independent control over low-speed and high-speed compression damping. Drivers can select from 10 low-speed and 12 high-speed compression settings to tune the suspension for changing terrain, added vehicle weight, towing loads, road conditions, and driving speed.
FOX 2.5 Performance Elite front coilover features include:
- 2.5-inch impact-extruded and CNC-machined aluminum bodies
- External reservoirs for increased fluid capacity
- Improved cooling during extended off-road use
- Dual Speed Compression adjusters
- 10 low-speed compression settings
- 12 high-speed compression settings
- Application-specific adjustable Eibach racing springs
- Massive 7/8-inch hard-chrome-plated steel shafts
- Vehicle-specific FOX valving
- Adjustable preload and ride height
- Fully serviceable construction
- Bolt-on installation with the BDS 6-inch lift system
The FOX 2.5 Performance Elite lift kit can be paired with FOX 2.0 Performance Series rear shocks or upgraded FOX 2.5 Performance Elite rear shocks.
FOX 2.5 Performance Elite Rear Shocks
FOX 2.5 Performance Elite rear shocks provide increased oil capacity, improved cooling, and greater damping control for trucks frequently driven off-road or equipped with additional accessories and cargo.
The external-reservoir design separates the shock oil from the high-pressure nitrogen, helping maintain consistent performance during prolonged use. Dual Speed Compression adjusters allow the rear suspension to be tuned to match changing vehicle loads, terrain, and driving conditions.
FOX 2.5 Performance Elite rear shock features include:
- 2.5-inch impact-extruded aluminum bodies
- External reservoirs
- Dual Speed Compression adjustment
- Independent low-speed and high-speed compression tuning
- 7/8-inch hard-chrome-plated steel shafts
- Increased fluid capacity and cooling efficiency
- Improved off-road damping and control
- Fully serviceable construction
The complete FOX 2.5 front-and-rear configuration is the best choice for demanding off-road use, high-speed terrain, overland builds, and drivers who want maximum suspension adjustability.
Rear Suspension
A heavy-duty rear lift block replaces the factory block to create a balanced stance while retaining the factory rear leaf-spring design, load capacity, and general ride characteristics.
The rear suspension also includes new U-bolts, brake-line relocation brackets, and the selected FOX rear shocks. Trucks equipped with mono-leaf rear springs require the applicable replacement U-bolts.

Trimming may be required depending on the selected tire size, wheel width, wheel offset, backspacing, alignment settings, and tire manufacturer. All aftermarket wheels should be test-fitted before mounting tires.
Important Fitment Notes
- Designed for applicable 2019–2026 Chevy Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 4WD models with gasoline engines.
- Models equipped with the 2.7L turbocharged engine must use the applicable diesel/2.7L kit due to intercooler-pipe and skid-plate clearance.
- Does not fit vehicles equipped with Adaptive Ride Control.
- A separate BDS lift kit is available for Adaptive Ride Control-equipped Silverado High Country and Sierra Denali models.
- Frame-bracket modification is required.
- Factory 17-inch and 18-inch wheels cannot be reinstalled due to tie-rod-end interference.
- Factory 20-inch wheels may be reused where applicable.
- Aftermarket 17-inch wheels with 4.5 inches of backspacing must be test-fitted to verify steering-knuckle and tie-rod clearance.
- All aftermarket wheels must be test-fitted to verify brake-caliper clearance.
- Actual ride height with the FOX 2.5 coilover configuration is approximately 6.5 inches.
- Trucks equipped with a mono-leaf rear spring require four BDS UBT4064 U-bolts.
